Slow Cooker Pepper Steak (Heather Hill)
Sprinkle 2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into 2 inch strips with garlic powder to taste. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat 3 T. vegetable oil and brown the seasoned beef strips. Transfer to a slow cooker.
Dissolve: 1 cube beef bouillon in 1/4 cup hot water. Mix in: 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Pour into slow cooker
Add: 1/2 c. chopped onion, 2 lg. roughly chopped green peppers, 1 14.5 oz. can stewed tomatoes, 3 T. soy sauce, 1 t. white sugar, 1 t. salt Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours, or on low for 6 to 8 hours.
