Cloud Biscuits (Becky Essig)
2 c. flour
1 T. sugar
4 t. baking powder
½ t. salt

Sift together. Cut in ½ c. shortening. Combine 1 beaten egg & 2/3 c. milk. Add to flour mixture all at once & stir until dough holds together. Knead on floured board gently 20 strokes.

Bake on ungreased pan @ 450° until lightly browned.
