Cream Puffs (Karen Burbidge)
1 c. water, 1/2 c. margarine, 1 c. flour, 4 eggs Heat oven to 400°. Heat water and margarine to rolling boil. Stir in flour. Stir vigorously till mixture forms a ball (approx. 1 minute). Remove from heat. Add eggs. Beat till smooth. Drop by ¼ cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet 3" apart. Bake till puffed and golden (35-40 minutes). Check after 20 minutes for doneness. Split puffs open. Add pudding or chicken mixture. Pudding: Follow package directions. Chicken: 1 c. chicken & 8 oz. cream cheese. |
