Crescent Rolls (V-Ann Ludlow)
2 pkg. yeast; 1¼ c. warm water; ½ c. sugar; ½ c. Wesson oil; 3 well-beaten eggs 4½ c. flour; 2 t. salt

Dissolve yeast in ¼ c. warm water; add sugar and oil. Add remaining 1 c. warm water. Do not substitute milk. Add eggs & salt. Stir in flour. Dough will be sticky. Let rise until doubled in bulk. Pour extra flour on, knead a little. Roll out. Cut into triangular strips. Roll up into crescents. Place on greased cookie sheets. Let rise until doubled in bulk. Bake @ 350° for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown on top.
