Bread (Edna Thibault)
1/3 c. lukewarm water; 1 pkg. dry yeast; 1 c. hot tap water; 2 T. sugar; 1½ t. salt; 2 T. melted shortening; 3-3 ½ c, flour
Dissolve yeast in 1/3 c. water. Set aside. Mix together hot water, sugar, salt 7 shortening. Cool. Stir in dissolved yeast. Add flour until dough leaves sides of bowl and isn't sticking. Knead 5-7 minutes. Let rise until doubled. Knead down again 30 times. Roll out into 8 X 12 rectangle. Roll up tightly. Place on greased pan. Let rise until doubled. Bake @ 350° for 30-40 minutes. Rub crust with margarine
