Frona's Yeast Rolls (Frona Wallace)

Let rise: 2 pkg. yeast; ¼ c. water; 1 T. sugar
Mix and let cool: ½ c. shortening; ½ c. sugar; 1 t. salt; 1 c. hot water. Beat 3 eggs until fluffy.

Add eggs and yeast mixture to shortening mixture. Add 4½ c. flour. Let sit and raise for 1 hour. Punch down and put in refrigerator for 8 hours (minimum time: 3 hours). Divide into three parts. Roll out and spread melted butter on. Roll up. Each part makes 1 doz. Rolls. Let rise 1-2 hours. Bake @ 400° for 5 minutes.
