Orange Rolls (Helen Maskell)
(1)Dissolve & set aside: 2 pkg dry yeast; 4 T. warm water (2)Mix together & set aside: 2 c. sour cream; 2 whole eggs; 4 egg yolks; 2 t. vanilla.
(3)Mix together: 7 c. flour; 2 t. salt; 2 t. vanilla; 2 c. margarine (1/2 shortening.
Mix all three combinations together. Refrigerate ½-1 hour. Roll out dough and spread on filling.
Filling: 16 oz. cream cheese; 1 c. sugar; 3 t. orange extract. Roll up jelly-roll fashion. Cut in slices and let rise on greased cookie sheets. Bake @ 350° until golden brown. Glaze with white frosting.
