Pizzelles (Kathi Hill)
6 eggs; 1 ½ c. sugar; 1 c. margarine, melted & cooled; 3½ c. flour; 4 t. baking powder; 2 T. anise extract
Beat eggs. Add sugar gradually till smooth. Add cooled margarine & anise. Mix flour & baking powder. Sift & add to mixture with wooden spoon. Mixture will be very sticky. Drop by ½ t. onto hot iron.
