Pumpkin Bread (makes 4 medium loaves)
3 1/3 c. flour; 2 t. baking soda; 1½ t. salt 1 T. cinnamon; 1 T. nutmeg; 1½ t. cloves; 2/3 t. ginger 2 c. sugar (dark brown); 1 c. melted corn oil margarine 4 eggs; 2/3 c. water; 1 lb. canned pumpkin 1 c. chopped nuts; ½ - ¾ c. orange peel Mix first dry ingredients until evenly colored. Then mix in wet ingredients. Bake in greased pans @ 350° until done. |
