Raisin Bran Muffins (Kathi Hill)

Mix & set aside: 1 c. Raisin Bran; 1 c. boiling water; ½ c. salad oil.

Mix & add: 2½ c. flour; 1 t. salt; 1½ c. sugar (half brown; 2½ t. soda; 2 c. Raisin Bran. Mix & add: 2 eggs, well-beaten; 2 c. buttermilk; 1 c. raisins. Bake in muffin cups.

Glaze while hot: ¾ c. powdered sugar; ¼ c. fresh orange juice; ½ t. vanilla; ½ t. almond flavoring.
