Strawberry Bread (Becky Essig)

Cream: 1 c. margarine; 1½ c. sugar; 1½ t. vanilla; ¼ t. lemon extract. Add: 4 well-beaten eggs

Sift together: 3 c. flour; 1 t. salt; 1 t. cream of tartar; ½ t. baking soda. Combine: 1 c. strawberry preserves; ½ c. sour cream

Add alternately with flour to original mixture. Add: 1 c. nuts. Bake @ 350° for 45-50 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.
