Heavenly Hash (Phyllis Brown)
1 can evaporated milk; 3 c. sugar; ½ c. white Karo syrup; ¼ lb. butter; ½ t. salt; 1 c. nuts.
Mix everything except nuts. Boil to soft ball stage - stir constantly. Add nuts and whip till begins to thicken. Pour onto buttered platter and score with knife.
