Sweet & Sour Chicken (Lynda Speidel)
Fry: 1 pkg. chicken breasts. Remove from pan. Add & fry: 2 chopped green peppers; 1 large chopped onion; 1 large chopped carrot; water chestnuts; celery Add: ¼ c. vinegar; ¼-½ c. brown sugar; 2 T. soy sauce Add: 1 can pineapple tidbits with juice. Combine & add to thicken: 1-2 T. cornstarch; 1½ c. water Stir in chicken pieces. Serve over rice. |
