Applesauce Drop Cookies (Becky Essig)
1 c. raisins; 1 c. chunky applesauce; 1 c. brown sugar; ½ c. shortening; 1 egg; 1 c. nuts; 2 c. flour; ½ t. salt; 1 t. soda; 1 t. cinnamon; ½ t. nutmeg; ½ t. allspice Mix raisins & applesauce. Mix sugar, shortening & egg. Beat till fluffy. Stir sugar & applesauce mixtures together. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to first mixture. Stir in nuts. Bake @ 375° for 10 minutes. |
