Polvarones (Spanish Cookies)

Grind until fine: 1 t. cinnamon, 1 T. sesame seeds, ½ c. almonds. Mix with: 1½ c. sugar, 9 c. flour. Cut in: 1 lb. lard
Knead for 5 minutes. Divide into 2 parts. Line 2 baking sheets with waxed paper. Roll out dough. Score the tops in 1"X2" rectangles. Bake for 20 min. @ 325°

Brush with orange glaze: 2 T. lemon rind; 2 eggs; ¼ c. sugar; ¼ c. orange juice. Bake 10 minutes more. Cool and break apart.
